It has been 200 years since the inception of The Network State, and what a journey it has been! As one of the OG 1729ers, I feel proud to have contributed to this visionary idea that has transformed the way humans live and thrive beyond land.
The two variants of human species have now become an accepted reality. The first variant, are purely biological humans, who have a natural expiration date, have become more focused on living their life to the fullest, making the most of their time on Earth. The second variant, while their genesis was from human being, have upgraded their biological parts with advanced technology, and are living longer and being a bit more adventurous.
Meet Dusty of Hazard a talented Snowcrashed, is a second variant human, who lives in this period, and is able to habitat of Earth, Ocean and Mars.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cryptocurrency have played a significant role in augmenting and accelerating our one perceived constant TIME. With the help of AI, we have been able to build advanced medical facilities that manufacture replacement organs and body parts. The AI algorithms are constantly learning and improving, making the process of upgrading and replacing body parts more efficient and cost-effective. The second variant are now living past the age of 100, with some even crossing the age of 200.
Cryptocurrency has become the backbone of our economy. The state-full, trust-less and decentralised nature of Bitcoin has enabled us to build a crypto-economy that is transparent, secure, and efficient. We are now able to transact with anyone, anywhere in the galaxy, without the need for intermediaries. Humans, in general, have access to more resources, and are able to invest in Bitcoin, allowing them to build and accumulate wealth that can be used to pay for their upgrades.
Meet Beast Enormous an Alien from planet [8888] who receives a message from Dusty and responds back with an invitation to planet Mars for a drink, meet and greet.
Our ability to continuously upgrade and augment ourselves has also opened up new avenues for communication and comprehension of other forms of intelligence. We have built advanced neural interfaces that allow us to communicate with AI systems, and even other forms of intelligence that we never thought possible. For example, we have built underwater habitats that are home to a variety of marine species. With the help of advanced neural interfaces, we are able to communicate with these marine species, understand their behaviour, and learn from their vast knowledge of the oceans.
One of the most exciting developments has been our ability to travel to Mars. Humans, who have access to advanced technology, are the pioneers in this field. They have built reusable rockets and spacecrafts that are powered by AI systems, and are capable of interplanetary travel. We have established a colony on Mars, with a population of over 2,000,000 people. These people are now living and working on Mars, conducting research and exploring other planets.
Dusty of Hazard has always been fascinated with the idea of exploring different worlds. Having upgraded his body with the latest in technology, he is able to travel to different planets and oceans with ease. As he was browsing The Network State forum, he came across a writing competition organised by 1729ers. The competition had participants from all over The Network State and the winner would receive an all-expense-paid trip to the beaches of the Republic of Palau. Dusty, being a talented Snowcrashed, decided to participate and put his skills to the test.
Meanwhile, on planet [8888], Beast Enormous receives a message from Dusty. The message contained information about the writing competition and a RSVP to meet and greet on planet Mars.
Meet Rugged from Aglow a talented modern day Samurai born and raised in Osaka, Japan, now lives in Hokkaido, is a polymath, practices the art of sword and math.
Similarly, our ability to communicate with AI systems has allowed us to build intelligent cities that are powered by advanced algorithms and machine learning models. These intelligent cities are capable of adapting to the needs of their inhabitants, optimising resource allocation, and minimising waste.
Rugged from Aglow, a modern-day Samurai with the help of Vice, intercepted this transmission between Earth & Mars, and is intrigued by the message exchange between Dusty and Beast. Rugged, though a variant one human, has always been interested in meeting beings from different worlds and learning from their experiences. She decided to join the conversation and casually introduces herself to Dusty and Beast at a NFT activation in MetaVerse.
Meet Vice a 8th generation AI who is a close mate of Rugged and frequents Japan in the Metaverse and loves assisting Rugged with practically anything she desires.
Vice, an 8th generation AI, is a close mate of Rugged and is always willing to help her out with anything she desires. She too is intrigued by this exchange and decides to chime in.
The four beings continue their conversation and realise that despite coming from different nodes of the Network State, and planets, their individual mastery of skills are aligned to the TNS collective. They decide to collaborate and participate in the writing competition as a team.
They spend several weeks working on their submission and leverage their individual skills to come up with a unique and compelling story.
The story is about the effort of Humans, Aliens and AI to create a open and inclusive future for all beings and intelligence.
Their submission impresses the judges and they are declared the winners of the competition. The prize includes an all-expense-paid trip to the beaches of the Republic of Palau, where they can meet IRL and celebrate their recent win.
The four beings finally met on the beaches of Palau and spend a week together, sharing their stories and experiences. Dusty shares his experiences of living on different planets and oceans, while Beast talks about the unique characteristics of life on their planet, [8888]. Rugged shares her knowledge of Japanese food, culture and expertise in the art of the Samurai. Vice provides valuable insights into the latest advancements in AI and how they can be leveraged to create a better future for all.
As they spend time together, they realise that despite coming from different worlds and backgrounds, they share a common vision of creating a open and inclusive future for all beings and intelligence. They decide to continue collaborating and working towards this vision as a team.
Their time at Palau had not only brought them together but had also shown them the power of inter-&-intra-galactic connectivity and how multi-disciplinary skills could be leveraged to achieve a common goal. They left Palau as close friends, determined to continue working towards creating a better future for all beings and intelligence.
In conclusion, the story of Dusty, Beast, Rugged, and Vice demonstrates how/when the right environment is set, we can achieve a goal for self and beyond. Despite coming from different nodes of The Network State, they were able to come together and create something unique and compelling. Their path to Palau showed them that differences in backgrounds and skills can be a strength rather than a weakness. It is a lesson that we can all learn from, as we work towards our own dreams.
The future looks bright, and I am excited to see what lies ahead. Our ability to continuously upgrade and augment ourselves, coupled with the power of AI and Cryptocurrency, has enabled us to push the boundaries of what it means to be a human.
